Jumpin' Jungle

You don’t have to journey far from the Las Cuevas compound to encounter wildlife. An ocelot frequents the area, and black howler monkeys can be heard almost daily from the porch. These puddling butterflies appeared at the foot of the stairs. Puddling butterflies use their probosci to suck up salts and other nutrients from damp soil.
